Purdy is a lovely 5-year-old 13hh piebald cob mare with a kind temperament and a sensible head on her shoulders. She is a genuine family-type pony who has proven to be very good out hacking, taking everything in her stride and never being silly. She has happily looked after a novice rider on hacks and is the sort that gives confidence rather than taking it away.
She is still green in the school, as expected for her age, so she is not a finished product. Because of this, she will suit an experienced or knowledgeable home that can continue her education and bring her on correctly. That said, she is honest, willing, and straightforward, with no known vices.
Purdy has only been hacking with us, where she has been sensible, calm, and reliable in traffic and open spaces. With further schooling, she has the potential to make a super children’s pony, family pony, or Pony Club prospect.
