Passionata, affectionately known as Daz, is a much-loved 9-year-old mare by the famous Cordess, now looking for her next rider.

Showjumping is truly her passion — she’s bold, genuine, and loves her job. Daz never hesitates, no matter the stride or approach, and is completely unfazed by fillers. Currently ridden by a teenager and confidently jumping up to 1.20m, she’s proving to have the scope and confidence to go higher. She naturally brings her rider into the jump, making her ideal for someone ready to step up to the next level.

Recently, Daz attended a residential camp where she performed brilliantly and came home with plenty of ribbons. However, she can get a little anxious in new environments and may occasionally nap or rear, so she needs a confident and experienced rider who can reassure her and keep her focused. She’s a smart mare who likes a rider that can match her.

On the ground, Daz is an absolute sweetheart — curious, affectionate, and never mareish. She’s easy to handle, loves attention, and is a real pleasure to have around the yard.
