Ideal Allrounder Project
Ember is a seriously fun and capable mare, perfect as a winter project for anyone looking to develop a versatile allrounder.
At 15 hands and 13 years old, she’s green for her age due to time spent as a broodmare, but she has the talent and potential to excel in riding club, grassroots eventing, hunting, and more.
This Welsh part-bred chestnut mare is well put together with a correct, pleasing mover. Though unregistered, she appears to be a Welsh crossed with Thoroughbred or Warmblood type.
Ember is a typical mare with a bit of sass—she may squeal or have a quick spin if challenged but is by no means dangerous. She’s learned that spinning won’t get her out of work and responds well to firm, patient handling.
Her flatwork is basic but solid, and she comfortably jumps 70-80cm fences, though she’s still building confidence for bigger jumps.
Ember thrives with a routine and needs a confident, understanding rider to guide her through the next stage of her education.
She enjoys being part of a herd and gets anxious when left alone, so a home with company is best. Ember has experience hacking, cross-country schooling, show jumping, and will soon be hunting.
She’s ready to find her forever home where she can be ridden regularly and continue to develop into the talented allrounder she’s meant to be.
If you’re looking for a fun, honest project with lots of potential and a great personality, Ember could be the perfect match!
