• Dougie is a 15hh, 13-year-old part-bred Connemara gelding who has been with his current owner since a 4-year-old.
• Over the years, he has developed into a highly capable allrounder with a strong competition record and a wonderful presence both in and out of the ring.
• He has competed successfully in Pony Club Open Showjumping, including appearances at Royal Windsor and qualifications for the Pony Club Championships.
• He has also competed in Intermediate Working Hunter classes and has lightly participated in British Showjumping, regularly placing in 90cm–1m classes.
• On the ground, Dougie is a joy to handle. He is easy to catch, clip, shoe, and load, and has a sweet, affectionate nature.
• He enjoys attention, is happy living in or out, and is well-mannered in the stable.
• However, under saddle, Dougie is quirky and sharp. He requires a confident, competent rider who will enjoy his cheeky personality and be unfazed by the occasional buck.
