Talented 5YO Irish Sports Horse Mare

Luna is a striking 16hh, 5-year-old bay Irish Sports Horse mare with the looks, movement, and attitude to turn heads in any discipline.

She has three expressive, uphill paces and always works in a consistent outline, regularly producing beautiful dressage tests that catch the judges’ eye.

In the jumping phases, Luna is bold, careful, and consistent. She has been confidently jumping 1.10m courses, always giving her all and rarely touching a pole. She’s competed in GoBE 90/100s with double clears and sub-30 dressage scores, and was only one placing off qualifying in a competitive BYEH class at Aston-le-Walls.

Luna has seen plenty of the world for her age — unphased by ditches, steps, and technical fences, and previously had a minor hesitation at water, which is now fully resolved. She would thrive in a home aiming for grassroots eventing, showjumping, or even a future in BYEH or amateur-level competition.

She’s sweet-natured and easy to have around, with a willing attitude and a fun, rideable way of going. Hacks alone or in company, good to handle, although she can be a little moody with the farrier (not nasty).

Luna would be an ideal match for a capable teen, amateur, or small adult looking for a talented and trainable young horse to bring on.
