Beautiful Sally is a striking, kind mare who is sadly offered for sale through no fault of her own.

Imported from Ireland at five years old, she raced once and never again. She has had just one owner prior to us, with full history known, and we remain in contact with her previous owner. A large library of photos and videos is available.

Temperament & Handling

Sally is a gentle, sweet-natured mare with impeccable manners on the ground. She is easy to handle in every way, loves attention, and has been safely handled daily by a 12-year-old. She is genuine, affectionate, and a pleasure to have around.

However, she is also a sensitive soul. Sally does not cope well in busy, loud, or chaotic livery environments and can suffer from separation anxiety. She thrives best in a calm, consistent setup, ideally living with or alongside settled companions.

Riding & Ability

Sally loves her work and truly shines in:

• Schooling
• Jumping – forward, athletic, and confident with a lovely technique

These are where she is happiest and most relaxed. A home with access to a school is essential.

She is not suited to hacking. She finds it stressful, has done very little of it, and will not be happy in a hacking-only home.

Ideal Home

This mare will not suit everyone, and we will not compromise on her future.

• No children as riders (although she is good around them)
• Would suit a competent teenager or adult
• Knowledgeable, sympathetic, calm rider essential
• Quiet private yard or very low-drama setup strongly preferred

Reason for Sale

This is a sad, genuine sale. If we had our own private yard, Sally would be staying. Unfortunately, our current environment is too overwhelming for her, and with pregnancy limiting the time and consistency we can give, we are putting her happiness and wellbeing first.

We are looking for a 5-star, understanding home where Sally can finally settle and thrive.
